Released in 2015, this vintage refers to the Fond – Capot house where Heriters Madkaud rum was founded in 1895. The first occupant of this place was Lietenant General Jean – Charles de Baas, Castlemore, Governor General of the French West Indies of Louis XIV. When he died in 1677, he was buried on the property.

Tasting Notes: Rum with a beautiful copper color, aged for 4 to 5 years in oak barrels. The balanced scents of roasted coffee and mocha are enhanced by a beautiful spicy and woody note. The aromas developed in a beautiful lemony vegetable freshness evoking the nougatine, spices, and fruited cooked with a refined wood.
